How can you use e-Tipitaka Quotation ?

1. Login to the Tipitakastudies.net website

2. Browse through the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka Table of Content here

3. Get a popup page which is navigated to the World Tipiṭaka e-Edition.

4. Select the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka Section you wish. For example Pārājikapāḷi

5. You will then be transferred to a veiw page of Pārājikapāḷi

6. You can see that the left hand side of the website is changed. There is a 1V Pārājikapāḷi appearing which have 1 Mahāvibhaṅga underneath. This represent the structure of your current viewing of the World Tipiṭaka e-Edition.

Furthermore, you can notice that on the right hand side there is a structure that you can also go through here.


7. Let's try visit 1 Mahāvibhaṅga and then 1.2.1 Paṭhamapārājikasikkhāpada , 1.2.1.1 Sudinnabhāṇavāra .
You will navigate to the content of Tipiṭaka.

8. Let's assume that 1.2.1.1 Sudinnabhāṇavāra have Pāḷi Tipiṭaka content that you want to quote and distribute to your friend or put it in your website.

Start by clicking at Tipiṭaka Quotation link on the top right of the displaying area. You will get a Tipiṭaka helper box below.


9. Here you can select the part of Tipiṭaka Quotation by indicating the start and the end of Paragraph from the dropdowns which is next to the from: text.

Let's choose 1V:41 to 1V:45 for this example. You can go on customizing the result by specifying dimention, background color, text color, flag for displaying section name. If you do not specify any customization the default values will be used.

After clicking the Submit Button you will be transferred to Tipiṭaka Quotation result page.
